Platinum Sponsors Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers Value the NPBA Bench Bar Conference

The Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association will hold its nineteenth annual Bench Bar Conference at the Waterside Marriott in Norfolk on April 18, 2017.  This wonderful event seeks to bring judges and attorneys together to share stories, share laughs, and share ideas regarding important developments in the law. Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers is proud to be a platinum sponsor again this year.

We were also a sponsor of last year's event which you can watch on this video.

The work that the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association does is second to none. John Cooper, Jim Hurley, and our newest partner, Bill O’Mara, aim to support the NPBA in any way they can. They have taught personal injury seminars organized by the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association. In September 2016, a great gathering of local members of the bar showed their support for Cooper Hurley and learned about personal injury claims, settlements, and ethics.

Last year’s conference, with former Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court, the Honorable Leroy Millette, drew a huge turnout from attorneys and judges in the Hampton Roads area. We have no doubt that this year’s conference will be just as successful with Dean Wendy Collins-Purdue of the University of Richmond School of Law.

Also successful from last year’s conference was Cooper Hurley’s raffle. Many attorneys dropped a business card into the raffle, hoping to win a $500.00 donation made in their name to a charity of their choice. Cooper Hurley is raffling off another $500.00 donation this year. Hopefully, you can be the lucky winner like Erik McCauley, who chose to have the money go to the Greenbrier Church in Chesapeake – a worthy organization.

Please note that we are moving. Effective April 10, 2017, our main office location will be 125 St. Pauls Boulevard in Norfolk. Our building will be the closest door to the new Norfolk courthouse. We still maintain our other client meeting locations in the area, including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Please contact us at 757-455-0077 or by visiting cooperhurley.com.
