Three Cooper Hurley Attorneys are Recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers
At Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers, our attorneys hold numerous accolades and awards within the legal profession. We were delighted to learn three attorneys have again been recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers
The three personal injury lawyers are again named as either Virginia Super Lawyers or Rising Stars for personal injury law in the 2017-2018 Super Lawyers list.
Founding partners, John Cooper and Jim Hurley, were selected as Virginia Super Lawyers. Attorney Bill O’Mara, who joined the firm in 2014, and recently became a partner, was again named as a Rising Star in the Super Lawyers Magazine.
The prestigious designation places John Cooper and Jim Hurley in elite company of less than 5 percent of Virginia’s leading attorneys. Bill O’Mara was chosen among less than 2.5 percent of young lawyers. The designation is based upon a rigorous evaluation by a blue ribbon panel of attorneys in the Commonwealth of Virgina, who recognized the lawyer’s expertise and achievement in personal injury law.
John Cooper and Jim Hurley have more than 50 years’ combined experience helping Virginia families hurt in car, truck and motorcycle accidents.
The firm also represents people who have been injured at businesses in accidents such as slip and falls, those hurt by dangerous drugs, and the families of those who have lost a loved one in a wrongful death.
You can find out more about the awards and affiliations held by our attorneys on our website. Both John Cooper and Jim Hurley are rated 10 out of 10 “superb” by Avvo, a national lawyer assessment service. They are rated AV “pre-eminent” by Martindale Hubbell, which also rates lawyers.
They are also members of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Roundtable, a designation only open to attorneys who have won cases worth more than $1 million. More details are provided on our website.
While it’s always heartening to pick up awards and accolades, the accolade that really counts is that of our satisfied clients.
When you are hurt in a car, truck or motorcycle wreck, it’s extremely traumatic and it can be hard to know where to turn. Often an insurance company will see to short change you. We are happy to be able to help hundreds of clients every year. The faith our clients put in Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers and their recommendations have helped us grow.
